Booking Information & Conditions



Due to legislation it is illegal to smoke or vape in any of our accommodation. Ashtrays are provided to smoke outside the caravans and there are many cigarette disposal points around the site. Smoking or vaping is not permitted in the club house, games room and launderette.


Only families and couples will be accepted. The person whose signature appears on the booking form must be over 21 years of age and must occupy the caravan for the duration of the holiday. Only persons named on the booking form can occupy the accommodation. The proprietors must be notified if there are any visitors or additions to the party. Groups of young people cannot be accepted unless accompanied by their parents. We do not accept single sex parties without prior agreement.

Arrivals and Departures

The caravan accommodation will be ready from 2pm on the day of arrival (4pm during the summer school holidays), and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. Please ensure the accommodation is left clean and tidy and your key is returned to Reception. Please telephone Reception in advance if you will be arriving later than 6pm. As we are a relatively small holiday park and to avoid disturbing other guests, we will not accept arrivals after 10pm.


A deposit of £50 per week per caravan is required. The balance must be paid 6 weeks before the commencement of your holiday. Deposits are non-refundable.


Any cancellation must be confirmed in writing. Cancellation prior to 6 weeks of arrival will result in the loss of deposit (£50 per week). Once your ‘Final Balance’ has been paid, if you are forced to cancel your holiday, for whatever reason, any monies paid less the deposit element and any ferry charges applicable, will be refunded ONLY if the accommodation is re-let. The Park are not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event that we are prevented from fulfilling your Booking as a result of circumstances beyond our control. Such circumstances shall include (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, pandemics, health risks or such similar events (“Force Majeure”). We recommend that you have adequate holiday insurance in place to cover this. Please note that once you have booked your accommodation and deposits are received, you are entering a legal contract.  Please note that once you have booked your accommodation and deposits are received, you are entering a legal contract. With regards to the current Covid-19 situation, if we are unable to fulfil your booking due to being closed, we will be happy to transfer your booking to a future date.

Ferry Reservations

We are happy to book your car ferry for you at our preferred rates. Please contact us for our up to date prices. Ferry E-Tickets will be issued 2 weeks before date of travel. An administration charge of £5 will be made for any ferry booking alterations.


We regret that no pets can be accommodated at Cheverton Copse Holiday Park.


An inventory is displayed in each caravan. Any missing or broken items must be paid for. Any damage to the caravan which is caused during occupation must be paid for and reported to Reception as soon as possible.


Broken or damaged items in the accommodation must be reported to reception immediately so that corrective action can be taken. Breakages will be chargeable to the customer. Soiled seating/mattresses will be chargeable and are expensive so we strongly recommend protective covers for the young or infirm.  Please note that if the accommodation is left in a bad state of cleanliness on departure, additional cleaning costs will be chargeable.

Bed Linen

One set of bed linen per guest per week is provided and included in the cost of your holiday. If any additional or replacement bedding is required, it will chargeable at £5 per set. Please note that waterproof bed linen for the young or infirm is not supplied and guests are required to bring their own.


Cheverton Copse has a licensed Clubhouse which is open during Easter, Whitsun, School Summer Holidays and October Half Term. There is entertainment seven nights a week during Whitsun, School Summer holidays and October Half Term. Children under 14 are admitted, but only when accompanied by an adult. There is no smoking permitted in the Clubhouse. There is a heated outside terrace where smoking is permitted. Please note that due to their proximity to the clubhouse caravan numbers 25-30 could be subject to minimal noise disturbance between 7.30pm – 11pm during peak season.

Games Room

Our Games Room is open daily from April to October. It has a vending machine, two pool tables, video games and an air hockey table. This is a non-smoking area.

Special Needs

Please note that some areas if the park may not be suitable for guests with mobility problems as there are slopes/gradients to some of the caravans. Please mention at time of booking regarding any special requirements and we will be able to advise you accordingly. Wheelchair access can be obtained to the clubhouse, please enquire on arrival.

Credit Cards

Payment by Credit & Debit Cards will not incur any transaction fee.


The Proprietors will immediately terminate your holiday contract, with no refunds given, should any person be involved in conduct prejudicial to the well-being of others. The Proprietors reserve the right to enter the accommodation if required, primarily for maintenance purposes. On no occasion should children be left alone in a caravan or on the park without supervision, particularly when using the play equipment. The static caravan park is a traffic free area for the safety of children and for this reason cars/motorbikes must remain in the car park. Trolleys are available for the transportation of luggage. Guests bringing two cars must inform Reception at time of booking. Cheverton Copse will not be responsible for any loss or damage to cars and motorbikes in the car park. Ball games are permitted on the playing field only. On no occasion must bicycles be taken into the caravans. The Proprietors shall not be liable for injury, death, loss, damage, accident or additional expense, however caused, occasioned to or incurred by any guest or other person.

Guest Restrictions

We will not accept bookings for parties with more than five children (aged 15 or under) per adult. At least one adult must occupy each unit of accommodation.

We don’t knowingly allow any guest to use or visit our park who: (i) has an unspent criminal conviction; (ii) has an entry on a criminal register (including the sex offenders’ register); (iii) has any record of any order indicating antisocial behaviour, violence, abuse, public disorder or criminal damage or any other form of antisocial behaviour; (iv) is a convicted sex offender, subject to the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act 2003; or (v) is subject to a Risk of Sexual Harm Order or Child Abduction Notice. If you don’t disclose this information about yourself or any other member of your party, and it later becomes known to us, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and require that you, and the other members of your party, leave the park, without refund.


If guests have a problem or complaint during their holiday, they should in the first instance bring this to the attention of the Reception, where it will be dealt with as sympathetically and helpfully as possible. Please note that in order for us to investigate and implement corrective action wherever necessary, Cheverton Copse Holiday Park will not entertain complaints made after a guest has left the Park.

All of our staff are trained to be courteous and polite to guests, and we expect our guests to extend the same courtesy to our staff. Any person who is rude or abusive to our staff will be asked to leave the Park and no refunds will be given. E&OE
