Frequently Asked Questions
Is bedding and bed linen provided?
Yes. Duvets/Covers/Sheets/Pillows/Pillowcases are all provided and included in the cost of your holiday.
Do I need to bring my own towels and tea towels?
Yes. Washing up liquid and loo rolls are useful too!
Do you have public internet access at Cheverton Copse?
Yes. We now have Wifi access throughout the park. Please contact reception for more details!
Can I park my car/motorbike next to the caravan?
Definitely not! We have a separate car park for this purpose. This is to provide a safe and healthy environment for children to play. We also recommend valuables are not left in vehicles overnight.
Are pets allowed to come on holiday with us?
Unfortunately pets must stay at home; they are not permitted on the static holiday park.
Can I smoke in the caravan?
Out of respect for customers who will be in the accommodation after you, we request that you smoke outside the caravan. Please note that due to new legislation smoking will not be permitted in the games room or club house in 2007.
Do you have a cafe/restaurant on site?
No, however, there are an abundance of eateries within a five minute drive of the park.
What time can we check in and what time do we have to leave?
Check in is from 4pm on the day of arrival and you must vacate you accommodation by 10am on your day of departure.
Do you accept single sex parties?
Unfortunately we do not accept young single sex parties.
I am arriving on foot. What is the easiest way to get to Cheverton Copse?
Public transport is easiest from Ryde Pier Head or Ryde Esplanade. The quickest way is to get a taxi from Ryde direct to us. This should take approx 20 mins and cost approx £10-£15 depending on traffic. A cheaper option is to take a train from Ryde to Shanklin (20 mins) at a cost of £2.50 then get a taxi from Shanklin station to Cheverton Copse, this should take 5 minutes and cost £3-£4. Please contact us if you are unsure as to your best option.
Member(s) of our party have walking difficulties, can you accommodate us?
Yes of course! There are caravans that we can allocate to you which are very close to the car park. Please mention this at time of booking or you may be allocated accommodation away from the car park.
Member(s) of our party are wheelchair users, is this a problem?
Wheelchair users are very welcome at Cheverton Copse, although we do not yet have any specially adapted caravans. Because of the slopes and gradients on our site, wheelchair users are advised to book accommodation as close to the car park as possible. Because of our rural location the surrounding area is not wheelchair friendly.
Is there a shop on site?
No, there is a large Morrisons store with its own cafe 2 mins drive away.
