Blackgang Chine
Overlooking the spectacular south west coast of the Island, Blackgang is an eccentric mix of exciting rides, goblins and fairies, all set within beautiful Victorian gardens. As well as family attractions, fascinating exhibitions tell the stories of shipwrecks, smuggling and life gone by! Opened to the public in 1843, the park has developed into a unique cliff top site, with the infamous Cliffhanger roller coaster clinging to the edge. Water-force is a family boat slide while would be cowboys can mosey on down to the wild west town. For younger visitiors, the junior barrel ride is great fun and there is also a new smugglers' adventure play area. Open every day from 10am, it's a must for the child in us all!
